What’s Preinstalled

BlossomOS ships with a curated set of apps so it’s usable right after installation, without needing to hunt down the basics yourself. Everything below is installed automatically as a Flatpak the first time you boot or update, on top of the standard KDE Plasma desktop (Dolphin, Konsole, System Settings, and so on).

Anything here can be removed if you don’t need it, and reinstalled again from Arc Store at any time.

BlossomUI

BlossomOS also ships its own Plasma style, window decoration, and icon theme, collectively called BlossomUI, giving the desktop its default look. It isn’t an app you launch, it’s what makes the whole system look like BlossomOS out of the box.

Missing Something?

Not seeing an app you’d expect? Check Arc Store first, most software is just a search away. If you think something should ship preinstalled by default, open an issue on Blossom Git.
